Retrieve orders

A retrieve orders flow defines where OCP reads orders from when users or consuming applications need a near-real-time order view. The flow does not store connector orders in the OCP database; it retrieves and maps the data on demand from the configured source.

Flow setup

The retrieve orders flow must contain exactly one source step.

Source	Description
Current data	Reads existing intake orders from OCP and maps them to the retrieved order view.
Connector	Calls one connector that supports order retrieval and maps the connector response to the retrieved order view.

The flow does not support enrichment steps or multiple connector steps. If a connector source is selected, the connector is responsible for retrieving both order lists and order details.

Only connectors that declare retrieve-orders support are available as connector source options.

Order line prices

Order line prices in the retrieved order view are the prices the customer pays, after line discounts. Each line has a unit price excluding VAT and, when the source provides enough information, a unit price including VAT.
